January 2007 Progress Report
Our friends John and Roni Harper gave it to us a few months ago.
John made it by hand...
All the letters are
"hand-cut"
steel.
It took John about 3 months and several
"cuts"
to complete it.
Last week, Roni sent John with me to set the sign in cement.
John told me "Since the sign project took so much time he needed to..."
"Make sure Bob doesn't put it on wheels and
take it in-n-out only when we visit!!!".
The SIGN is OUTSTANDING!!!
John and Roni are our lifelong friends!!!
Notice how Susan put John right to
WORK!!!
We bought Bamboo Furniture
We now have a garage full of furniture.
Brent had a truck drive to Long Beach,
Take a look where we got it at...
We received ALL the pieces
we ordered in
EXCELLENT
condition!!!
Here's how it worked...
Exbali shipped a container to Long Beach California.
The shipping company they used assisted us
in paying
"USA Import Taxes"
and
getting a
"Port Pass"
to pick up the container.
The shipping company asssisted us greatly.
then...
Rafel, our builders son, set up the import to Mexico stuff.
He contacted Brent at Miramar Custom Brokers.
pick up the container,
bring it to his wherhouse,
unload (devan) the container,
take the container back to Long Beach,
stage the furniture for Mexican Customs
to view and sign off.
then...
Rafel, our builders son, arranged
to have a company from Mexico come
pick-up the
"goods".
Internation Marketing Import
was the trucking company that
moved the furniture to Mulege.
This company loaded their truck in the USA
drove to Mulege,
and delivered our furniture directly,
to our garage...
ON THE BEACH!!!
This project could not be done without
We'll be back...
