July 2006 Progress Report
We spent another week in Mulege.
Some people have trouble with bugs or spiders in their garage...
We get other
"critters".
Sela, one of our dogs, spotted this invader first.
Even though Sela wanted
"crab"
for dinner...
Brandon, our 7 year old nephew, came along again this trip.
Susan released the
"captive visitor"
by the water.
Schools out for summer.
We treated him like he was one of the "family"...
Slept on the driveway and ate with the "kids".
Just so we don't get in "trouble" with "mom and dad"...
Susan rode the tractor for the first time.
that's
NOT
dog food he's eating!!!
It just looks like it.
She finished spreading one of the mounds of dirt.
Only 19 piles left to spread.
We continued with the electrical wiring in the garage.
We installed another light and some electrical plugs for the washer dryer.
Susan built an outside shower.
She says it's too hot to shower in the trailer right now.
We finally got some solar panels.
These are Kyocera 130w units.
They're made in Tijauna, Mexico.
The cost was $4.60 a watt.
We still need to get many more.
Susan has started building furniture...
She made this table to hold her refrigerator and
"gormet ice maker".
Now if I can ONLY talk her into building with bamboo!!!
She also loves board games...
Our Satelite Internet is working perfectly.
This one is called
"Sort the Nuts and Bolts".
We can just bring the computer down...plug it in...and send email.
Technology is amazing.
We did play too...
The old Seadoos just keep on going...
Bob's sister Mary is making us some ceramic tiles for the casitas.
Mary's website is...
MaryFrambes.com
Efren Hernandez
www.bajaconstructions.com
will start construction of the Casitas in September.
We're still on schedule.
We'll be back....
